Argos Handle Boise State
March 28– The NDNU lacrosse team jumped out to big lead before coasting to a 23-3 victory over Boise State. The Argos scored the games first 11 goals, eight of which came in the first period. NDNU out shot the Broncos 64-10, registering 31 shots before Boise State took their first.
Tim Campeau and Brad Matzek had big games for the Argos, finishing with a combined 19 points. Campeau led all players with 10 points, racking up six goals and four assists. Matzek added an Argo season high seven goals and also dished out two assists. Cam Foss tacked on a goal and five assists while Mark Scherman recorded three scores. The Argos close out their season with a three game road trip starting Saturday against Division II powerhouse Mercyhurst. BOX SCORE

Big First Period Leads
Argos Past Dominican
March 21 – The NDNU lacrosse team improved to 8-2 on the season with a 24-4 defeat of Dominican University. The Argos scored ten goals in the first period, including the last nine unanswered to bust the game wide open. The second was much of the same with the Argos scoring four more and taking a 14-2 lead into halftime. NDNU would go on to tack on seven goals in the third and three in the fourth to close out the game. The Argos took 60 shots to just seven from the Penguins and also picked up 64 groundballs to 18 from Dominican.
Brad Matzek (four goals, four assists) and Tim Campeau (three goals, five assists) led NDNU with eight points each while Keegan Davidson (five goals, one assist) tacked on six. Mark Scherman and Justin Der added three goals each with Jesse Painter scoring two more. The Argos are back in action Saturday for an exhibition game with the Marin Lacrosse Club at noon. BOX SCORE

NDNU Topples Whittier
By One Goal Again
March 10 – The Notre Dame de Namur lacrosse team picked up their second one goal victory of the season over Whittier with a 12-11 win at the First Four. The Argos improved to 3-0 all-time against the Poets and moved to 7-2 overall on the season. Whittier jumped out to an early lead, leading 5-1 after one and 8-5 at halftime. The Argos closed with one goal going into the fourth before taking the lead for good at 11-10.
Cam Foss and Justin Der led the Argos with three goals each while Tim Campeau added two goals and two assists. Keegan Davidson scored twice and Mark Scherman tacked on a goal and an assist. The Argos are back home on March 21st against Dominican College for the first of three home games.
