NDNU Ties Chico
September 4- NDNU and Chico gave the crowd a show but the contest resulted in a 0-0 tie after two overtimes. The action resulted in 30 shots between the two teams, 12 corner kicks, 13 goalie saves, and 37 fouls but no goals. The Argos actually got off more shots on goal (8) then did Chico (5) but could not find the back of the net. Anton Del Rosario (1), Robert Morini (2), Anthony Putrus (2), Nick Hooper (2), and Andres Caballero (1) all managed to get shots on goal for the Argos. Argo goalie, Nicholas Arellano played all 110 minutes in goal and came up with five big saves and picked up the tie. NDNU sits at 1-1-1 on the season and will travel to play Division I, UC Davis on Wednesday.
