BYU Hawaii Fires Away
September 6– BYU Hawaii came into Belmont with a lot of fire power as they defeated the Argos in three games (11-30, 23-30, 22-30). The Argos came into tonight's match having just picked up their first three wins of the season in Great Falls Montana. NDNU knew they would have their hands full as they entered not completely healthy and with BYU Hawaii also being undefeated. The firepower of BYU was led by Yu Chuan Weng who had 30 kills on just 3 errors and 48 attempts. LeeAnn Mapa led BYU with 49 assists. Laura Trudelle led NDNU with 8 kills on 22 attempts. NDNU drops to 4-8 on the season and will host Dominican on Friday night at 7pm.
