Argos Battle Chaminade
September 10– The Argos battled Chaminade to a close three game match tonight in Belmont but came up just a little short (28-30, 28-30, 18-30). NDNU got out to the early lead in the first two games but Chaminade came storming back to slip past the Argos. Marissa Miller came out swinging and was on fire in the second game as she finished with 14 kills on the night. Laura Trudelle continued her consistent play as she ended up with 14 kills as well. NDNU edged Chaminade in the kills department (50 to 45) but could not control their errors as they finished with 22 and Chaminade only had 8. NDNU will travel to Hawaii next week to take on BYU Hawaii, Chaminade, and Hawaii Pacific.
